If you didn't already know, I am a competitive speedcuber at a national level and I have been doing so for a very long time. I compete very frequently, and I will be sharing what it's like in these blogs. I will be posting my experiences and my achievements. Join me as I achieve more feats in this sport.

I started Cubing almost a decade ago by taking some Rubik's Cube classes, and I believe those were a vital part of my journey; without that beginning, I would not be here. In these few years, I have learned so much from a small little puzzle, not just a piece of plastic or a toy. I have competed, learned, and socialised with people who shared my love for cubing, I took classes, learned the most advanced methods, and competed on an international level.

It has made me value every millisecond, every nanosecond. It made me realise how doing one thing repeatedly over and over again can make u improve. There were times when I hit a plateau and would not improve, that's when I took breaks only to realise that I needed that break, and when I resumed practising, I used to see an improvement in my timing. I learned a lot from the ones around me who were better, faster, and more experienced, I learnt more by teaching the ones around me than I did by learning myself.

The best part about cubing is its competitive nature, nobody can predict what will happen next, and there's so much that can affect how good your solve is. A small distraction can also ruin it, how warm the cube is, how you pick up the cube from the mat, how well versed you are with basic algorithms, how sleepy you are, if the person competing next to you starts celebrating for a record. Its all a part of the sport that I love so much.

In Cubing, someone averaging just 4 seconds can very possibly have the same solution as one that averages 10. That's very common, but it all depends on execution. It depends on a lot of skills and how well you can track and predict the next piece in front of you. It is a game of algorithms and predictions, and it's often correlated with math. Most Cubers are also seen to have an interest in math and/or physics; as a matter of fact, cubing in India gained momentum due to a club at IIT ( Indian Institute of Technology), which is considered the best college in India for sciences.

I would like to give my experience to everyone around me through a Rubik Cube Course. It consists of all my learning from more than a decade of competing in competitions, talking to cubers around me, learning new and most advanced methods, exploring new puzzles, taking classes, teaching, and so much more.
